Our journey began over 15 years ago, when the first solar photovoltaic system was installed on the rooftop of our Jiangsu Funing facility back in 2006, followed by a second one in Nantong in 2011. Over the years, we’ve improved our production methods and worked to make sustainability one of our core operational principles: an ongoing process which is reflected by our Corporate Social Responsibility projects. OUR JOURNEY SO FAR
We are constantly researching for ways to minimize the environmental impact of our production processes. Working with global partners has allowed us to implement more efficient methods and maximize our use of renewable energy sources.
RENEWAVABLE ENERGY
Currently, 2.7% of our production process is powered by solar energy, thanks to 110,000 square meters of solar panels in Nantong and 40,800 square meters in Hai 'an factory. Our photovoltaic system is now generating 11 million kWh each year.
WASTE & WATER MANAGEMENT
99.7% of post-production waste is reused internally or by third parties. In 2020, we recovered more than 28.000 tons of PVC, leading to a reduction in emissions of almost 59,000 tons of CO2. Furthermore, 18% of the water used in our factories is recycled in our pools testing facility.
EMISSIONS REDUCTION
We saved 171.713 MT of CO2 from 2018 to 2020, thanks to 7 energy-efficiency projects implemented in our factories. We are also supporting 6 agro-forestry projects in Guatemala, Ecuador, Kenya, Cameroon, Haiti and Tanzania, where we have planted 2,500 trees.
PACKAGING
The packaging materials used for our retail sales are 96% recyclable and made from 90% post-consumer recycled material.
PRODUCT QUALITY & SAFETY
Nearly 500 items are tested in independent laboratories each year and certified to 115 different safety standards. The products are tested for compliance with safety requirements as defined by the current legislation and Technical Standards by reputable third-party laboratories, with more than 5,000 test reports issued every year.

Yes, we know we’ve still got a long way to go on our path to a kinder future.
